I provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments that are based on the most current definition of dyslexia (Delphi, 2024). This approach uses a broad range of tests and takes a holistic view of the child, ensuring that results are placed in the context of their background, strengths, and everyday experiences.

I gather information from parents, school, and (where relevant) other professionals to build a detailed picture of your child’s learning history and day-to-day experiences.

Relaxed, child-friendly sessions using a wide battery of up-to-date, evidence-based tests. Short breaks are built in to help your child stay focused and comfortable.

We can speak after the report is complete to go through the findings together, answer questions, and plan the next steps for support. I offer a 15 minute follow up telephone call.
Why choose this assessment?
My assessments are designed to be thorough, holistic, and fully up to date. They:
-
Follow the 2024 Delphi definition of dyslexia
-
Include a larger test battery, covering phonological awareness, rapid naming, working memory, processing speed, reading, spelling and writing
-
Take into account the whole child , their learning history, strengths, challenges and environment
-
